Ship Simulators

Strategic Operations Inc. (STOPS) designed, developed, integrated, and delivered Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) and Force Protection Ship Simulators for the US Navy’s Center for Navy Security Forces at Naval Station San Diego; Northwest Annex, Chesapeake, Virginia; Naval Station Mayport, Florida, and Naval Station Pearl Harbor. 

These simulators incorporated commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) computers, software, equipment, special effects, and entertainment industry techniques to create imaginative and convincing experiences for VBSS, anti-terrorism (AT) and force protection (FP) training.  STOPS modified existing shipping containers to create state-of-the-art simulation trainers to replicate Navy and Merchant ships, provided special effects, operation controls, expanded classrooms, and installed digital video for recording student's tactical actions and playback during daily critiques.
