Strategic Operations, Inc. (STOPS) is proud to offer military service members and deploying units access to the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) program. TCCC courses are conducted by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) as part of its renowned PHTLS program, which is a leading provider of prehospital trauma education worldwide. These courses follow the guidelines set by the Department of Defense's Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) and utilize the military textbook from the PHTLS program. The TCCC course endorsed by the American College of Surgeons is exclusively offered by NAEMT.
STOPS employs TCCC/TECC instructors who possess authentic real-world experience in treating casualties in combat or tactical operations. NAEMT's TCCC course is accredited by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS) and recognized by the National Registry of EMTs (NREMT).

NAEMT, STOPS provides the TCCC All Service Members (
TCCC ASM) course. This course is specifically designed for combat EMS/military personnel, including medics, corpsmen, and pararescue personnel who are being deployed in support of combat operations. The course can also be tailored to suit the needs of law enforcement special weapons and tactics teams and special response teams. Additionally, NAEMT offers a civilian version of the TCCC course known as Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC).
Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) is a program developed by the U.S. Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency (DHA), in partnership with the Joint Trauma System (JTS). Its primary objective is to impart evidence-based life-saving techniques and strategies specifically tailored for delivering top-notch trauma care on the battlefield. NAEMT is entrusted with conducting TCCC courses as outlined by the DHA-JTS, and currently offers three distinct variants:
- TCCC-ASM (TCCC All Service Members – Tier 1): A 7-hour course designed to benefit all service members.
- TCCC-CLS (TCCC Combat Lifesaver – Tier 2): A comprehensive 40-hour course intended for non-medical military personnel who are deploying to support combat operations.
- TCCC-CMC (TCCC Combat Medic/Corpsman – Tier 3): A comprehensive 63-hour course tailored for military medical personnel, including medics, corpsmen, and pararescue personnel deployed in combat support roles.
The foundational medical knowledge that underpins TCCC is featured in NAEMT’s PHTLS Military textbook, with military-specific chapters authored by members of the JTS Committee on TCCC. It's noteworthy that NAEMT's TCCC courses are officially endorsed by the Joint Trauma System and the American College of Surgeons. Additionally, NAEMT's TCCC-CMC and TCCC-CLS courses hold accreditation from CAPCE and recognition from NREMT.
